Just to let you know that the latest title dealing with parent and carer groups is now available. It is called Baby and Me and is the fourth in the series. The others are RUMPUS, Step by Step and Music and Play and have been very well received. If you are thinking about setting up parent groups you will find these books really useful. They are full of practical ideas and tips about how to start, how to promote the group, how to run the sessions, and how to evaluate them.

There is one more to come - called Making Connections. It will be announced on the Blog and also on the website www.qed.uk.com

I have added details to these pages on the QEd website (www.qed.uk.com). The aim is to help schools and organisations to find speakers who give training days on specific topics. Some of the topics include dyslexia, speech and language, behaviour, numeracy  ... etc. There are about 25 topics currently listed and I expect this will grow pretty rapidly. The idea is that the school/organisation finds the topic and speaker they want and makes contact directly with the speaker rather than coming through QEd.
